Charlie has been tweeting the not so cryptic acronym, HOTG, as it is his current project he is filming in the UK. Some of us knew HOTG stood for 'Hammer of the Gods' but till now there was little known about Charlie's new film being produced by Vertigo Films. Not anymore. Here's the skinny now courtesy of SceenDaily.

"Shooting is underway in London on Vertigo Films’ Viking story Hammer of the Gods, the debut from Farren Blackburn.
Set in Viking Britain in 871 AD, Hammer of the Gods is described as “a visceral, intense tale set in a world whose only language is violence”.  The film will follow a young Viking warrior, Steinar (Charlie Bewley), sent by his father the King on a quest to find his estranged brother."

And apparently, he really likes this guy :)

Guess what we found?! Yep. Finally some shots from 'Intersection' currently being filmed in Morocco starring Charlie! Sadly, he is not in any of the photos but now a little look at the film and more information into the story. The story is about a honeymooning couple where the woman (played by Jaimie Alexander) plots to have her husband (assuming Frank Grillo) killed so she could be with her lover but is follied by an accident in the Sahara where the plot can only thicken. Shooting on 'Intersection' ends April 14th and is slated for a November release! We will be keeping our eyes peeled on this one!

That's right, TWO DVD's with Charlie releasing on the same day! Tuesday March 6th Like Crazy starring Charlie Bewley as Simon, the love lost on Felicity Jones' Anna will be releasing on DVD and Bluray. Then Wyatt Earp's Revenge starring Charlie's Astoria partners Matt Dallas and Steven Grayhm, among others, including Charlie's cameo as Sam Bass will also be releasing this coming Tuesday! Charlie recently teased us that he was headed to Europe to start rehearsals for a 'desert thriller' but of course didn't say what that project was. Now we have the announcement from EuropaCorp about the David Marconi directed thriller 'Intersection' featuring Charlie and is currently in production! We are super stoked hearing about this amazing project for Charlie and cannot wait to hear more about it! Wonder who his character is? Details! We need details!

-Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp will head to Berlin’s European Film Market with a couple of hot English-language titles, including Enemy Of The State and Live Free Or Die Hard writer David Marconi’s second outing as director, Intersection. Paris-based Europa is currently in production on the thriller that Marconi also penned. Frank Grillo, who’s been making a name for himself with recent turns in The Grey, Warrior and the upcoming Gangster Squad, stars alongside Roschdy Zem (Days Of Glory); Marie-Josée Croze (Tell No One, The Diving Bell And The Butterfly); and Charlie Bewley, who plays Demetri in the Twilight movies. The story centers on a rich and beautiful couple on their honeymoon in Morocco. After escaping a deadly multi-car pileup at a desert intersection, the group of survivors — including a wanted smuggler, an undercover cop, a kidnapper, a baby and an unconscious Australian — embark on a journey of deceit and revelation that culminates in a Tangiers souk. Delivery is for fourth quarter this year.-

Finally some information on 'Outback' where Charlie lends just his voice in this animated 3D feature film. The story is about an albino koala, that goes from zero to hero and Charlie voices a dingo named 'Loki'. A release date has not been announced but check out a poster and a teaser trailer from the film!

We've been planning and preparing for weeks and the day is finally upon us! So I guess we can finally spill the big secret and release what we here at CBU have put together, in collaboration with Charlie's fans all over the world, a birthday video to wish him well into his new year of life. Thank you to everyone that joined in with us to celebrate such a Bewleyful day and I hope you enjoy this as much as we do.
