The Bewleyful One
Charlie Bewley is a great too many things to tie a fancy adjective to. Any attempt to glorify him is futile because his humility wouldn’t allow it, however; I will try my best to bring to light all that is Bewleyful about Charlie Bewley.
Charlie is best known for his portrayal of ‘Demetri’ in the Twilight Saga’s New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. But that is nowhere near all that he is. Charlie is a witty, intelligent, open mind that has learned how to embrace life and is doing just that. He has literally grabbed life by the balls and is making the most of it.

About Charlie
Charlie was born the 25th of January 1981, but is like Peter Pan and refuses to acknowledge age. He grew up on an old farm in England where he was nourished into being the man that he grew to be. Charlie is an avid sportsman and his passions include ‘Rave Running’, rugby, snowboarding and soccer (or football depending on which side of the pond you are).
In May 2011, Charlie ran an Ultra-Marathon which came to be known as 'Run For Your Life' where he raised money for cancer research. In turn, he ran over forty miles at the 2011 BMO Vancouver Marathon completing both the Half and Full Marathons. Over $20,000 was raised in memory of Jocelyn Clarke for the Lion's Gate Foundation for cancer research.
His eclectic background of jobs also holds true to the diverse man that he is. He has done everything from selling stripper poles to working at a gay bar in Vancouver (where I believe he discovered guyliner) to being a cabbie. Acting gave him an outlet that nothing else could give him. He was given the chance to grow and learn as a person, while gettng the opportunity to portray a number of characters yet maintaining his own unique personality. Or in his words “feeding his inner schizophrenia”.
In the Summer of 2011 Charlie announced, along side his friend Steven Grayhm (co-founder), the launch of their new production company, Astoria Entertainment, with Rob Daly (co-founder) and Matt Dallas. The groups first project was a summer long road trip across the United States they titled "Into the Heart of America: A Soldier's Story" to gain knowledge on veterans and life after the military as the research would be for their first film 'Thunder Road' set to start production soon.
It’s fairly obvious there is nothing that can hold this man down in doing anything he sets his mind to and his mind is a pretty beautiful place.
Whether it’s a production company, social network, acting, or training like a mad man on his physique, Charlie is a man to watch. A growing talent that the world needs to embrace. He sees the world as it is, a place to experience in every essence of the word. He has learned truly how to live and is a muse to those that admire him. We should all feel so lucky as to get to experience him in our own journey to grow and learn.
What a Bewleyful thing.
